THE VISION
ESG Environmental, social and economic responsibility
For over 5 years, we have chosen to transparently share our commitment and objectives in social, environmental, and governance sustainability with all our stakeholders. Aware that the sector plays a fundamental role in the fight against climate change, we have been adopting numerous strategies for years to minimize the impact of transport and logistics activities on the environment. But we are also a company made up of people, and our focus is on improving, step by step, the sustainability of those who work for us and the community in which we operate.
OUR COMMITMENT
Italtrans publishes its Sustainability Report with the aim of informing its stakeholders about its ESG activities and communicating its future commitments.
In addition to Italtrans, the report also covers its subsidiaries Mazzocco, G.B. Trasporti, Frigor Trasporti Orobico, and Deliverit.

Our people
Italtrans has more than 1,000 direct employees, 85% of whom are hired on permanent contracts and 71% of whom are under 50 years of age.
In 2023, 5,517 hours of training were provided.
The company is part of BB Holding, a group that employs more than 3,700 people and has a total workforce of 5,500.
The environment
Italtrans’ commitment is leading to concrete results. In 2023, CO2 emissions were reduced by 5,978 tons thanks to the production of clean energy with the company’s own photovoltaic systems and the optimization of loads and routes for vehicles in circulation.
The territory
We believe in the value of the local area and demonstrate this belief through investments that support the community, internships, and work-study programs. We also provide support for numerous projects that have a positive impact on society, the environment, and culture.
