1986

Just one year after its launch, the company is introducing temperature-controlled fresh transport. From produce to dairy products, Italtrans is delivering an ever-increasing range of food products.

1992

Italtrans acquires G. B. Trasporti, creating a dedicated workshop for vehicle maintenance.
This marks the beginning of Italtrans’ journey as a group, in which each company plays its part in optimizing the production and management chain.

1997

Italtrans sees its fleet grow exponentially, expanding from a single vehicle in 1985 to 10 in 1986 and 100 in 1997.
As the new millennium approaches, the company is now ready to take on new challenges across the country.

2000

In 2000, Italtrans builds its first warehouses and launches a new service for its customers: room-temperature food logistics.

2003

In 2003, the company launches its logistics services for the fresh food sector. In 2004, it expands into frozen foods and introduces multi-temperature transport. The Italtrans Racing Team enters the Dakar Rally in the truck category.

2012

In response to the new shopping habits born from the advent of the internet, an innovative home delivery service is introduced.

2014

The administrative headquarters in Calcinate is officially opened. A gem of design and technology, it embodies Italtrans’ entire business philosophy: a focus on innovation, sustainability, and high quality.

2017

The early 2000s see technology advancing at an ever-faster pace.
In Calcio, a Logistics 4.0 hub is officially opened, a facility that still stands out today for its process automation, which contributes to greater efficiency.

2018

Italtrans acquires Mazzocco, a company with extensive expertise in last-mile distribution networks. This move enables the group to further expand its offerings by reaching out to businesses in the Ho.Re.Ca. sector.

2020

In the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, Italtrans is allocating funds to Bergamo’s healthcare system, delivering essential supplies seven days a week, and supporting projects throughout Italy. With the Jerusalema Challenge, the company is sending a message of life and hope—a tangible symbol of Bergamo’s spirit of never giving up.

The family has expanded with the acquisition of Frigor Trasporti Orobico, which specializes in the fourth-range sector, and Deliverit, a company already part of the Italtrans group, which operates in the home grocery delivery sector. With the creation of Logistica Italtrans and the expansion of Kamila’s workforce, the group has specialized in cargo handling operations.
