IFS LOGISTICS and ISO 28000

Italtrans has successfully renewed its ISO 28000 certifications for its administrative headquarters and logistics centers in Calcio and Covo. The two warehouses have also obtained IFS Logistics certification.

ISO 28000

Certifies the security of the supply chain in terms of security. This internationally recognized certification establishes a risk management system to prevent threats such as theft or sabotage, ensuring the protection of assets and operational activities.

The main areas covered are:

  • Risk assessment and mitigation in logistics and freight transport
  • Access control and physical site protection
  • Emergency management and security plans
  • Compliance with international supply chain security regulations

IFS LOGISTICS

Internationally recognized, it has been renewed for the Calcio and Covo warehouses. It guarantees the safety, quality, and compliance of logistics processes throughout the supply chain. It applies to all storage, transport, and distribution activities for food and non-food products and ensures compliance with the following fundamental principles:

  • Monitoring food safety and transported products
  • Controlling the cold chain and storage conditions
